COVID-19 VACCINES COULD AFFECT US HOUSING MARKET
 
The coronavirus pandemic and the ensuing financial crisis have caused immeasurable hardship and pain across the U.S. Paradoxically enough, the crisis has also served as a turbocharged shot to the housing market. Feverish buyers rushed into the market just as COVID-19-shy sellers pulled their homes off—forcing buyers into bidding wars and pushing prices up to new heights. Recession be damned.

Now, as the long-awaited vaccines are being rolled out, home buyers and sellers are eager to take real estate's temperature. Will prices finally cool off? Will the big cities come back? And will more homes finally go up for sale?
 
Certainly the vaccines aren't expected to be silver bullets...

FLOOR CASSETTE REDUCES CONSTRUCTION TIME
 
Transforming the construction process by introducing new technologies - ICG has begun to install Floor Cassette tables in Green Cove springs with the intent to bring this building process to the market in the upcoming months. Over the past year, we have tested these floor cassettes proving that the industry is able to build a two story 4600 sq foot house from slab to fully framed in a day reducing construction time in the field significantly. ICG is excited to be contributing to the new 291-unit luxury apartment complex. The complex is located at the northwest corner of Valley Ridge and Cross Town Road. The 347,000 square foot development consists of eleven residential buildings, and a standalone building that will house both a maintenance facility and a luxury clubhouse.

ICG is proud to be working with Dostie Homes, Encore Homes and Pulte all together building 10 Tiny Homes here in Jacksonville through Habijax, Builders Care and NEFBA. This community is a first of its kind in Duval County. It is made possible by a generous grant from the Delores Barr Weaver Habijax Tiny House Fund at The Community Foundation for NE Florida. The job of a Superintendent has many moving parts. At any given time, a superintendent may be overseeing several homes, in various phases of the building process. This is why training of new and current superintendents is so important. Superintendents are the bridge of communication between our customers and employees. Nolan C.

Nolan C. has been a vital member of ICG as CDS Lead Saw Operator at the GCS Plant Operation. He has enjoyed working for ICG for 2.5 years. He has appreciated the opportunities to learn other positions within the company.

Nolan, is a Jacksonville native. He enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. His favorite sports team is the Florida Gators (UF). One of his most valued achievements is raising his children. Nolan believes in always seeing the positive and having good character.
